2017 Upcoming Events

PVF is hosting our 13th Annual Youth Hunt
Saturday, October 7

Since we opened for business, we have been hosting a youth hunt to introduce youth to the sport of pheasant hunting in a positive and safe manner. Youth hunters ages 12-16, that have completed the hunter education course, are  invited to participate at no cost to them. All participants will receive safety instruction, clay target practice, a guided pheasant hunt with an experienced bird dog and good food & drink. We ask that youths only participate in this event once so we can introduce more juniors to this sport.  This event is sponsored by PVF, Lehigh Valley SCI, and local sportsmen's clubs.

Pre-registration is required, contact Mark by email: mark@pheasantvalleyfarm.com

Kick-Off Pig Roast/Chukar Hunts

To kick off the season we are having two hunting/social events on Sat. Sept. 9 and Sat. Sept. 16.  The event on the 9th is only for our training customers, meaning only customers with dogs that were trained with us. The event on the 16th is open to everyone and guides will be available for hunts. There will be four different hunting areas with six different start times. Hunts will last  approximately 1.5 hours with the first hunt starting at 7 AM. I will try to accommodate specific start times if possible. We would like 2-4 hunters per hunt with a minimum of 3 chukars per hunter stocked. There will also be pheasants on hand at $20 a piece. Adding hen pheasant or two is a great way to introduce your dog to pheasants. As always we will not combine groups. The intent is to do smaller, shorter hunts with the possibility of hunting multiple times throughout the day with breaks in between hunts. Lunch will be available from 10-3 at a cost of $10 per person which will  include roast pig and several sides. All hunts will be billed at $12 a chukar. We will have plenty of chukars on hand so that hunts can be modified due to weather conditions and dog & hunter stamina. Our goal is to have a low pressure, fun event for everyone. All scheduling will be done through Mark’s email: mark@pheasantvalleyfarm.com. Start times will be 7:00, 8:30, 10:00, 11:30, 1:00 and 2:30. To schedule select a start time and include the number of hunters. Last year this event filled so don’t wait to register.
