Women's Outdoor Skills Weekend @ Pheasant Valley Farm

Ladies looking for an opportunity to spend some time in the outdoors and learn some new skills or practice skills you already have? Then come spend the weekend with us and bring along a friend, sister, mother and/or daughter!

Arrive Saturday morning and leave Sunday @ noon
Participate in classes on archery, hand guns, fly fishing & shotgun shooting ​

In an effort to introduce these activities to as many different women as we can, we do not allow women who have attended in the past to be a participant again but, you are welcome to return as volunteer.

Chukar Kick Off Hunts

COME JOIN US FOR OUR 14TH ANNUAL CHUKAR CHALLENGE!
APRIL  10, 11 & 12 2026
 
Flushing dogs will run in a back field and pointing dogs will run in the field near the barn!

Handler and flushing dog will be transported to the field by PVF staff in a Kubota with a crate on the back.

Cash Prizes and Engraved Trophies for 1st 3 places in each division.
(1st 2 places in puppy classes)

"Single Pointing" or "Single Flushing" = 1 hunter, 1 dog, 6 chukars, 12 shells and 20 minutes
“Pair Pointing” or “Pair Flushing” = 1 hunter, 1 dog handler, 1 dog, 6 chukars, 12 shells and 20 minutes
"Team Pointing" or "Team Flushing" = 2 hunters, 1 dog, 8 chukars, 8 shells each and 30 minutes
"Puppy Pointing" or “Puppy Flushing" = 1 hunter, 1 dog under 18 months,  4 chukars, 8 shells and 15 minutes

Please include proof of date of birth with entry for puppy division ie registration papers, breeder contract, vet bill, etc

Each dog may run a maximum of two times per division. i.e. two single runs or two team runs. 

Dogs can only win one prize per division. Divisions may be combined as needed to provide for competition.

ENTRY FEES: Single $130 per run, Pair $130 per run, Team $180 per run, Puppy $80 per run

ENTRIES CLOSE WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1, 2026 
OR WHEN CONTEST IS FILLED 

To register, you must complete one entry form (below) per run and mail or deliver

that entry with payment by cash or check to Pheasant Valley Farm address is on the entry form.

Days and times will be ASSIGNED in the order entries are received so please state preference on entry form.

This is a rain or shine event, there will not be any refunds.
